Renowned for shaking up a mean mocktail or two, she keeps the whole crew hydrated and on their toes – thanks to her great taste in music. Squawk This Way by The Budgees, anyone?She’s the shaker queen, diva of garnish and never serves anything without a paper umbrella (non-negotiable).Whether she’s rustling up a pineapple fizz or teaching the Amuseables to salsa, Squawkatoo brings color, charisma and a whole lot of fun.

Plum Robin may be built for flight, but when winter comes, she’s strictly ground level. Wings outstretched, tail fluffed, and beak to the sky – she’s happiest making perfect snow angels.Plum has got opinions on snowfall texture, optimal wing-to-body ratios, and the importance of a proper swish. She’s not one for migration – what if she missed a flurry?! Instead, she stays close to home, humming carols to herself and leaving feathery outlines wherever she goes.Please remember that her snow angels are to be admired, not stepped on!

Hocus Crow has a passion for the past – particularly the ghostly bits. Graveyards at dusk, medieval curses, haunted tapestries, he loves it all.He insists he once saw a ghost toad wearing Victorian ruffles – possibly related to Ricky Rain Frog (“Same glare,” he says gravely). Whether or not the sightings are real is beside the point. Hocus lives for the lore.Bartholomew Bear swears Hocus’ Halloween party stories are the best! And he loves his midday mystery tours – they’re less scary than his midnight mystery tours (rumor has it, Hocus created the midday tour just for Bartholomew).

Watch out for your fish supper – Chip Seagull is on the streets! You can’t miss him. He’s got a huge beak, he’s built like a liner and his hair screams 80’s punk rock. He’s currently on a catering course at a college in West London.In his free time, Chip likes to travel with Bartholomew Bear and Bashful Bunny. He’s a hawk when it comes to spotting those cheap flights.He doesn’t say a lot.

Birdling Swallow is a little tousled, but you would be too, if you'd flown around the world! Beautifully bold in scarlet, white and navy, with a suedey grey beak and a fine forked tail, this colorful cutie knows all the best shortcuts! Show this swallow some homecoming hugs.

Birdling Goldfinch is currently training as an electrician. Quick-witted and quicker-winged, she’s happiest perched in a nest of tangled cables (don’t worry – she labels everything).  She dreams of one day lighting up theatre stages with a perfectly timed spotlight for Bartholomew Bear’s next performance.  So, the next time there’s a power cut, you can relax. Safe in the knowledge that Birdling Goldfinch is on the case! 

Audrey Hootsoftly is a writer. Or at least, she will be, once she finishes her first book. Ideas strike at all hours (mostly the small ones), so she’s often found burning the midnight oil. The result? A caffeine habit that could power a jet engine. By day, she lectures in literature – when she’s not napping. Hence her plush sleep mask, worn at all times for emergency shut-eye. It does make teaching tricky, but Audrey insists it’s all very avant-garde. She’d love to share her ideas with you – you might just have to give her a nudge, first!
